Over $350 for books alone... and that's only with the classes I'm sure of. No idea what it'll be after shopping period's over.
Yeesh.
One CS book alone is $80 -- thank goodness I am not taking something like Economics. One of their books is $130. Yikes.

Those books (like many other textbooks) may be available online through a PDF format. If you can throw up the information for the books, then I can try to track these down for you.
I recommend www.abebooks.com. I've gotten midwifery/nursing books there for 1-2 and 3 $ sometimes.
Most definitely try abebooks.com or eBay or even used on Amazon.

SO glad to know that you made there in fine shape. It sucks, though, that books cost so much; however, maybe you can follow the suggestion of Anonymous and see if they come in PDF format. ... That might be considerably less expensive.
Btw, I'm beginning the process of applying for grad schools - and nearly all of them are in the Northeast: Columbia; Syracuse; Harvard; and Georgetown. Do you know if Brown has a Public Administration/MPA program?
Thanks!

P.S. Oh, could you email me with your new phone contact info? Thanks.
I’m truly sorry about your current situation and I hope that your situation improves.
I am in my fourth year of college & have had almost 100% success checking required books out from the library. give it a shot.
A friend of mine did all his reading in the college bookstore so as not to have to buy the books.
Congrats on college! I am a gay rights activist and would love to speak to you about some of your views. Please email me @ matthewwoodyard@hotmail.com
